Can I stay?
We will open an appeals process in the early fall that will allow some students to be able to stay over the online course period and semester break. The campus preference is to de-densify during these times, so we strongly encourage students who are able to make plans to return home.
Will I be able to remain in my residence hall or furnished apartment during semester break?
The residence halls and furnished apartments will close from Thanksgiving break through the start of the second semester in February. Students will be able to petition to remain in on-campus housing during this time. The petition process is being developed. Students who reside in the unfurnished apartments may stay during this period.
Will dining be open?
At this time, we plan to have limited dining service will be available during part of this break. More information will be available in the early fall.
Do I have to move out in November and back in February?
No, you will not need to move out of your residence between November and February. We do encourage residents to take essential items home, because access to the room will not be granted during this time. We will not ship forgotten items.
