Spruce

Southeast Neighborhood

Spruce

In Spruce you might even forget that you’re in a college residence hall—at least that’s what the residents tell us. Not only are the facilities top-notch (check out Spruce’s wooded landscaping!), but it’s right across the street from The Restaurants at Woodland in Forest Quad. Spruce’s location in the Southeast Neighborhood gives it easy access to the School of Education and the Jacobs School of Music.

Heating and Cooling

This is an air-conditioned building with non-operable windows. Air-conditioning can be set from 74 to 78 degrees, when the outdoor air temperature is above 53 degrees. Heating can be set from 68 to 72 degrees, when the outdoor air temperature is below 50 degrees.

Something that I love about living in Spruce is that it’s really, really nice. It’s a lot nicer than some of the other dorms that I’ve been in. Like, you barely even notice that you’re living in a dorm.
