Costs

Because everyone has different resources, we offer you multiple price points. Make your housing selections to find a place comfortable for you.

Student government activity fees of $30 per term for residence halls and furnished apartments, or $9 per term for unfurnished apartments and learning community fees are not included.

Residence hall and furnished apartment prices are for an academic year and billed in two equal installments due in August and December. Unfurnished apartment prices are monthly rates.

Enhanced

This is the lap of luxury! Buildings at this end of the price range have suites and apartments with shared full bathrooms. AC is also included. To live in one of these buildings, you’ll have to tell us you’re willing to pay the cost on your housing application.

Standard
without
air-conditioning

This is basic, no frills housing. Buildings in this price range have community bathrooms with several shower and toilet stalls and a row of sinks.

Standard with
air-conditioning

This is our predominant option. Buildings in this category may have community baths, or semi-private half or full bathrooms.

Billing and Payments

All billings are made by Student Central. Residence hall housing charges are billed prior to each semester. Apartment housing charges will be billed monthly.

Instructions on bill paying, the billing calendar, etc. are available at Student Central.

Questions about the monthly statement, payment options, payment due dates, billing addresses, or other related issues should be directed to Student Central via the Student Central Secure Contact Form.

Questions about housing, meal plan charges, and the student government activity fee should be directed to IU Housing.
