Bicycle Lockers and Storage

Biking is a convenient way to get around campus, and many students bring a bicycle to school. We understand that protecting your bike is important.

You have a few different options for storing and securing it:

  • Rent a bike locker
  • Lock it to a bike rack near or covered outdoor rack near your building
  • Keep it in your room

Your bicycle needs to be registered with the university.

Bicycle Locker Rental

Located at Briscoe Quad and Union Street Center, these lockers provide the convenience of secure outdoor storage and weather protection.

Available to IU Housing residents and other students, faculty, and staff. The locker fee is $100 for the academic year. Any available lockers can be rented after January 1 for $50. There is a $50 charge for lost and non-returned locker keys.

Your bicycle must be registered with the university before you can request a locker.
