2025–26 rates

Find out more information about the 2025-26 housing costs by neighborhood and rate category below.

Room rates are based on the number of occupants and amenities in each room, with additional costs for a shared/private/single user bathroom. All room rates include heat, electricity, air conditioning, water and trash services.

Rates are for the academic year, including fall and spring semesters. Break housing may include additional fees.

A $200 non-refundable housing application fee will be paid during the housing application process. Students pay for their room and meal plan through their IU Bursar account. Charges are placed on the IU Bursar account at the beginning of each semester. This includes all residence halls, furnished apartments, and unfurnished apartments.

IU Student Central has payment plan options available for students.
