Welcome to Collins!

Recently renovated, Collins Hall blends historic Gothic architecture with traditional charm. Nestled near the heart of campus, it features the vibrant Collins Living-Learning Community and a convenient on-site eatery.

Whether you're part of the Collins LLC or not, all students are welcome to call this remarkable building home.

What makes Collins unique?

  • The Collins Living-Learning Center, which includes students from a variety of academic areas and majors with a love for arts and the humanities
  • Peer-taught classes about an array of interesting topics
  • Publications created by residents, including a zine, yearbook, and artbook
  • SustainCollins, a program dedicated to sustainability and the environment
  • The Cheshire Café, a student-run, non-profit coffee shop located in the building
  • Fun events like the Halloween Dance, Dickens Dinner, Viennese Ball, and Collinsfest
  • An annex that includes a ceramics studio, an audio/video editing room, theatre rehearsal spaces, and much more
  • A separate apartment complex, Hillcrest featuring a clubhouse, cinema, textile studio, and darkroom exclusively for LLC members.
