Getting around campus
Parking
If you drive to campus regularly, a parking permit is essential. There’s no free parking on or near campus, and during busy times, expect to search for available spots. Parking is extremely limited near the residence halls and apartments.
The few residential parking permits available are sold on a waitlist basis. New students who choose to bring a vehicle to campus should plan to park in the lots near Memorial Stadium.
Vehicles in these lots must be removed prior to all home football and men’s basketball games. The vehicle operator is responsible for knowing these game dates.
Parking decals are sold by the Office of Parking Operations.
Parking permits for the 2025-26 academic year will be available for purchase in August 2025.

- Keep it in your room
Your bicycle needs to be registered with the university.
